A question

So I get an e-mail from my DVD retailer in the states saying, in effect, that they've been hacked and my credit card details taken (perhaps) - please check your credit card statement.

So I check my credit card balance (online) and, sure enough $34.95US has magically flown off to somewhere that appears to be in the Netherlands.

So I check the bank's website to see what I can do. And I can't find anything. Yes there's stuff on not responding to hoax e-mails, having firewalls and virus checkers, etc, etc all this stuff I already know.

But I don't know how to get the charge on my account reversed - there appears to be nothing on the website.

Does anyone, anyone have any bright ideas?

Ring up their credit card number and talk to a real person.

That's what I told him...
