Correction to  last  update:

"It's Not You" is on from Tuesday 25/1 to Sunday 30/1 at the Edge Theatre (or as it is known now, The Newtown Theatre at the Edge.)

Performances start at 8:15pm, except on Sunday when it starts at 5:15pm

"Relics" is on from Wednesday 26/1 to Saturday 29/1 at the Seymour Centre.

Performances start at 8pm, with a 2pm matinee on Saturday.

Booking, prices, other plays, etc available here.

We've had the first rehearsal for "It's Not You" with only half the cast (one member we knew was away, one is sick and will hopefully return as she has the most important part, and the most minor part has to be recast and is going to the understudy of the other female leads.) Brett's directing that one, and the staging is quite complicated (not to mention the timing of the dialogue which is crucial to some of the jokes, and the end.) This is the one I most want to see, as it's the most experimental (in a way.)

"Relics" is still missing a Tom, but the director thinks he should have a decision later today on who he's going to go with. I won't be going to rehearsals as they're on during the day. My first glimpse of the play will probably be the dress rehearsal. I'm really impressed by the amount of attention Alex G and his team have given "Relics" (as it's the play I'm most responsible for.) I'd actually met the designer, Anthony Babicci, over twenty years ago at Theatre ACT. Probably fitting that I run into someone from that time now that I'm re-entering that world.
